Othello Tunnels

The Othello tunnels are abandoned tunnels that were built in the early 1900s as part of a Canadian Pacific Railway route to connect the Kootenay Region with the B.C coats. You will find the Othello Tunnels off of highway 5 north of Hope.

The walk through the Othello Tunnels will leave you speechless. You will be in the midst of nature; surrounded by forests and cliffs. You will be guided by an educated tour guide who will share with you the history of the historic railway tunnels.

There will be plenty of views of the river and canyon for photos and it is a great way to create memories with friends and family. What better way to see the history of BC!  If you are interested, contact us regarding pricing, details, and availability.
